It might be spring but another winter storm is on its way.

A snow squall watch is in effect across the region with conditions expected to be favourable for a brief frontal snow squall this morning and continue into Thursday.

Heavy snowfall amounting to 15-30cm is expected over the next 2 days with peak snowfall rates at 2-4cm an hour with significantly reduced visibility in heavy snow and blowing snow.

Snowfall is expected throughout this morning and end Thursday afternoon.
