The YMCA of Owen Sound Grey Bruce is adding an expansion for school age programs at Port Elgin-Saugeen Central School and Northport Elementary School.
This comes in response to growing demand from families in the Saugeen Shores area for the 2026-27 school year.
In partnership with the Bluewater District School Board, the YMCA the expanding of programs will see 41 new spaces for both schools to help families access high quality school based care.
Cyndy Jefferson, Director of Child Care at the YMCA says they know access to consistent, dependable care is essential for families and they are committed to growing programs in a way which supports both children and caregivers.
