The YMCA of Owen Sound Grey Bruce is calling on the community to help raise $32,000 by the end of the month and reach their $100,000 goal for their Strong Communities Fund.
This funding will ensure individuals and families in need will have access to life changing YMCA programs through the YMCA’s financial assistance program.
April McMillan, Manager of Fund Development says this year the need for financial assistance has never been greater and in the last fiscal year they provided over $181,000 in support to individuals and families, more than double given in 2022-23.
