$10,000 in Drugs Seized in Southgate Search Warrants

Over $10,000 in drugs are off the streets in Grey Bruce after OPP carried out a bust in Southgate.

In May the Grey Bruce Community Street Crime Unit investigated suspected drug trafficking of a Schedule I substance which led to search warrants across multiple residences in Southgate on June 27th.

During the warrants detectives seized 65 grams of suspected cocaine, 28 grams of heroin, 10.5 grams of meth, a stolen motorcycle, five prohibited weapons, drug trafficking paraphernalia and $550 in cash.

The estimated value of the drugs is around $10,300. A 43 and 39 year old Dundalk have been charged with five counts Possession of a Known Prohibited Weapon as well as Possession of Heroin and Meth for the Purpose of Trafficking.

A 38 year old also of Dundalk was charged with Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking.
