An incident with a tractor has led to charged against a Meaford man.
On June 28th police spotted a man known to police who was using a tractor on a private property.
When officers approached the man, he fled on the tractor, striking a police cruiser who was eventually arrested.
No officers were injured in the arrest with the cop car suffering significant damage.
As a result a 69 year old was charged with Dangerous Operation and Assaulting an Officer with a Weapon.
The accused was remanded into custody.
