One person is dead after an unresponsive swimmer was found in Meaford.
On July 30th at around 1:18pm, OPP responded with Grey County Paramedics and Meaford Fire to someone found unresponsive in the water at a waterfront property on Cedar Avenue along Georgian Bay.
Bystanders were able to recover the individual and initiated CPR until paramedics arrived but despite the efforts, the 55 year old of Ottawa was pronounced deceased at the scene.
