An inspection of 96 commercial motor vehicles in Grey Bruce has led to a list of charges.
Grey Bruce OPP partnered with police forces in West Grey, Hanover, Owen Sound and Saugeen Shores for the blitz from June 10th-13th aimed to improve road safety and ensure compliance with transportation regulations.
From the 96 CMV’s inspected, 80 charges were laid under the Highway Traffic Act, 46 vehicles were taken out of service with 55 warnings being issued.
This enforcement focused on identifying unsafe vehicles, unfit drivers and non compliance with commercial vehicle regulations.
