Six Grey County Paramedics have been honoured for their level of pre-hospital care.

The Southwest Ontario Regional Base Hospital Program honoured Paramedics Reid Milne-O’Neil, Jay Thomson, Todd Neerhof, Autumn Colweel, Lynda Fiske and Andre Lefebvre during a ceremony at the June 12th Grey County council meeting.

The Medical Directors Commendation Award is given to those who demonstrate excellence in pre-hospital and paramedic care.

Dr. Sunil Mehta who presented the awards says all six have demonstrated excellent care, reasoning and exceptional strength in providing the best care possible to patients in unusually difficult scenarios.
