There’s a new artifact at the Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre.
The marine artifact donation called the Kayoshk is a boat coming from the Ojibwe word gayasshk meaning Seagull.
When the boat was donated earlier this year, staff approached the Marine Heritage Society to help with the restoration of the boat which led to hundreds of hours done to restore the boat back to its former glory.
The Kayoshk will be on permanent display at the museum.
