Two people are facing charges after a drug trafficking investigation by Saugeen Shores Police.
On June 3rd, police were on patrol in Port Elgin when they spotted a vehicle known to police and was connected to a man wanted for a list of offences.
The vehicle had a woman driver with a male passenger but no traffic stop was done over public safety but was later found in a parking lot in Port Elgin.
Later in the day police saw both suspects walking in town with the wanted man arrested and a searched both where drugs were found from the man.
A search warrant of the vehicle found cash, more drugs, weapons, cell phones and drug paraphernalia.
The 40 year old man and 37 year old woman both face drug and weapons charges.
Both will held for bail and remanded into custody.
