The community of Goderich is set to welcome Mike Shoreman to their Waterfront this Sunday, June 12th in the afternoon.
The Unbalanced Paddleboarder who is crossing all 5 of the Great Lakes for the first time since 1988 will be crossing Lake Huron from Harbour Beach in Michigan starting on Saturday.
He is doing the feat all in one summer and by a person with a disability. He is doing the feat to challenge the stereotypes of people with disabilities to show what they are capable of accomplishing when the community believes in them.
Goderich Tourism hopes to have a big crown on the beach in Goderich on Sunday to welcome him and congratulate him on his successful crossing of Lake Huron.
