Bruce County provided an update on the Teeswater River Bridge Replacement project. The new bridge being constructed on Bruce Road 3, in Paisley, began in May of last year and continues on schedule. The lifespan of the new bridge is expected to be 75 years.

The bridge deck ad sidewalks have been poured.

The base slab of the culvert south of the bridge has also been poured.

This summer, construction will include culvert abutments and deck, retaining wall, parapet walls, approach slabs, backfill, waterproofing and paving.

It is anticipated that the bridge & roadwork will be completed in late September, with top lift paving in the Summer of 2024.

Once the new bridge is open the temporary bridge removal will begin.
