The Port Elgin Pumpkinfest made a presentation at the recent Saugeen Shores Council Meeting.
The Annual Festival is set to arrive in Port Elgin from September 30th to October 1st.
Pumpkinfest sees numerous charities partner with them to raise needed money for various causes with groups taking part including 3 Rotary Clubs, the Lions Club, Shriners, Community Living and the Knights of Columbus.
Mayor Charbonneau offered his thanks to the entire Pumpkinfest Organizing Committee.
“Council would just like to thank the board, Joanne, Connie and all the folks who do all the work to make Pumkin Fest happen every year. It’s a huge undertaking and a massive event.”
