Accused Individual Charged after Stabbing in Township of Georgian Bluffs

The accused individual of a stabbing incident in the Township of Georgian Bluffs has been charged. Three youth were also charged.

On June 24th at 7:04p.m., Grey Bruce OPP, Owen Sound Police Service (OSPS) and Grey County Paramedic Services (PS) responded to a report of a stabbing in the Township of Georgian Bluffs on Grey Road 1.

One individual was transported to hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries, and the accused individuals fled the scene before police arrived, but they were later taken into custody.

The Grey Bruce OPP have arrested and charged Joseph Cronk-Graver, a 19-year-old from South Bruce Peninsula with aggravated assault, assaulting a peace officer with a weapon, possession of weapon for dangerous purposes, mischief over $5000, failure to stop after accident, dangerous operation, two counts of flight from peace officer, theft over $5000 of a motor vehicle, and possession of property obtained by crime over $5000.

The accused was held pending a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice.

A 15-year-old male from South Bruce Peninsula, a 15-year-old female from Owen Sound, and a 14-year-old female from Owen Sound were also charged, each with theft of a motor vehicle, and possession of property obtained by crime over $5000.

All three of the youth have been released with a future court date at the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound.
