A test of the Alert Ready system will once again be done later this week.
On Wednesday, the National Public Alerting system will be sent across radio, TV and cell phones at 12:55pm.
The Alert Ready system delivers critical and potentially life saving alerts to Canadians to ensure everyone is able to take action when needed and stay safe.
Last year the Alert Ready system had 1086 emergency alerts in Canada.
