Community Living Kincardine is kicking off a free training program designed to create welcoming, inclusive and more accessible programs.
The 6 part video series is aimed for recreation leaders, staff, volunteers, educators, parents and coaches.
Dubbed All Kids Can Play which was first introduced in 2023 by Community Living Kincardine and District’s Family Support team in partnership with the Grey Bruce Inclusive Playgroup.
Prior to the program, 43 per cent of participants felt very unprepared or unsure about how to include children with disabilities in their programs.
The project was made possible by a grant from Community Foundation Grey Bruce.
