Green Goderich and the Perth County Sustainability Hub are hosting a Pop-up Rally this Sunday in Blyth to protest Bill 23.

The rally will take place outside of MPP Lisa Thompson’s office beginning around 2 p.m., part of 25 planned events across the province this weekend to call for the repeal of the More Homes Built Faster Act.

Organizers say the legislation threatens wetlands, forests and the Greenbelt, as it severely limits conservation authorities powers in favour of development.

Since mid-November, 46 rallies have already been staged across Ontario. To learn more, visit environmentaldefence.ca.
