The Bruce and Grey County Beef Farmers have donated nearly $4000 to support food insecurity through the Grey Bruce Food Share.
Together the Bruce County Beef Farmers and Grey County Beef Farmers Association made a joint donation to the Grey Bruce Food Share to help make sure families across the area have food for the season.
Calvin Anstett, President of Bruce County Beef Farmers says at Christmas when so many families are feeling the strain, the mission to feed the community with good, nutritious food is even more important and they are grateful to support their neighbours in a meaningful way.
The donation will ensure high quality beef is available to food banks and community meal programs at a time of year when the need is especially high.
