The Kincardine Hospital Redevelopment Project has taken another step forward, getting Ministry of Health approval to move to the next stage of the capital planning process.
The hospital redevelopment project includes an expansion and modernization of the Emergency Department, Diagnostic Imaging, Laboratory, Decontamination room, Lobby and Back of House.
The need for expansion and modernization comes as the majority of this space was constructed over 40 years ago.
Nancy Shaw, President and CEO of the South Bruce Grey Health Centre says the approval brings them one step closer to expanding and modernizing the Kincardine hospital.
