Bruce County announced today the appointment of Claire Dodds as the new Director of Planning & Development effective September 12th.
In the release, they say that she, as a member of the County’s Senior Leadership Team, will oversee the continued development of the new Official Plan, as well as economic planning strategies and programs, including business recovery.
The County says Claire is an experienced leader and Registered Planning Professional.
She has been the Director of Development Services with the Township of South Frontenac since 2018.
She holds a Master of Science in Rural Planning & Development from the University of Guelph.
She also grew up in Bruce County with strong ties to the community.
