After more discussions, Kincardine council has finally approved the 2025 budget, coming with a 7.13 per cent tax rate increase.
This increase will equal out to $171.97 from the municipal end of the tax bill based on a residential assessment of $275,000.
Once this is included with the Bruce County levy this will be around $239.16 on the average residential assessment.
The full approval comes with a $41 million operating budget and $32 million capital budget.
