Bruce County’s Human Services Department will be conducting a homeless enumeration this coming Monday, October 18th as part of the Ontario Ministry of Housing mandate.

This review will be a point-in-time count that provides a snapshot of the number of people experiencing homelessness in Bruce County.

The enumeration also collects demographic information using a set of standard questions.

Warden Jackson adds that Bruce County is committed to planning, delivering and advocating for responsible services that help individuals and families enhance their level of participating and quality of life in our communities.

The surveys will be available at the Penetangore Hub in Kincardine, Lakeshore Hub in Port Elgin, Peninsula Hub in Wiarton, The Meeting Place in Tobermory and the Bruce County Admin Centre in Walkerton.
