South Bruce OPP released results from Operation Impact Campaign October 8th to 11th

The Campaign saw 43 drivers charged with the Most Common Charge being 34 for Speeding

The South Bruce OPP released the results from the Operation Impact recently held over the long weekend from October 8th to 11th.

All available officers were enlisted in the campaign that is a safety campaign led by the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police.

It targeted offenses such as aggressive, distracted and alcohol/drug impairment as well as seatbelt non-compliance.

The campaign saw 43 drivers charged in South Bruce which broke down to 34 for speeding, 1 for stunt driving, 6 for other moving violations and 2 for impaired driving. South Bruce OPP also attended 9 motor vehicle collisions.

1 crash resulted in non-life threatening injuries with the remaining 8 classified as property damage only.
