This year Bruce County will be proceeding with Phase 1 of its Bruce Road 6 East A road reconstruction from Mildmay to just east of Deemerton, along with the rehabilitation of the Carrick Creek Bridge.
As part of the project, Sideroad 20 North south of Bruce Road 6 is also being reconstructed.
There will be a Pre-Construction Info Session on Wednesday, April 26th at the Mildmay-Carrick Recreation Centre from 5:30 to 7pm with a brief presentation at 6pm.
E.C. King Contracting was the successful bidder on the project and BT Engineering will administer the contract on behalf of Bruce County.
Phase 1 is expected to run May to November 2023.
Homes adjacent to the area will be notified in advance of impacts to driveways and field entrances.
Garbage and recycling will be arranged by a contractor during the construction.
