Local talent shined last week during the AMDSB local Skills Ontario Competition.
Held at Listowel District Secondary School on April 3rd, students from three high schools took part in team of two carpentry and welding.
GDCI students Dylan McNeil and Braydon Curran competed against two students from Listowel District Secondary School in the team of two carpentry event.
Both teams preformed well with both GDCI students coming out on top and will represent AMDSB at the provincial championships on May 6th in Toronto.
