Bruce County Museum set for Film Screening on June 8th as Part of Pride Month

Critically acclaimed documentary by Andrew Moir entitled “Take Me to Prom” will be shown from 7 to 9pm. Director will be on-site with a panel discussion planned.

With Pride Month set to arrive Thursday the Bruce County Museum will be screening a critically acclaimed documentary by Andrew Moir entitled “Take Me to Prom” from 7 to 9pm on Thursday, June 8th.

The film features intimate, and charming interviews with queer Canadians ranging in age from 17 to 88.

It invites the audience to revisit the iconic adolescent milestone of prom.

The director will join the audience in person post-screening to share behind-the-scenes insight into the making of the film.

There will also be a panel discussion with community members for discussion of current cultural & political issues facing the community in Canada and the US.
