The Municipality of Central Huron is advising of continued work on Phase 1 of the Full Reconstruction of Isaac Street this week.
The phase will see Dunlop to Joseph Street closed as excavation work begins and the installation of temporary watermains. Residents may have their water service line exposed in preparation for connection to the temporary system.
The full project will see the gas lines replaced & new gas meters & regulators in the downtown, replacement of water, sewer & storm mains as well as replacement of sidewalks & building entrances, curbs & gutters.
The project is expected to be completed by November.
