Bruce County Receiving Over $8 Million in Provincial Funding

Huron-Bruce is getting a boost of over $8 million in public safety, emergency services and community infrastructure.

The funding through multiple provincial streams. MPP Lisa Thompson says from mental health support to modernzing fire halls these investments aim to keep families in Bruce County Safe.

Bruce County will see $25,000 from the province’s Mental Health Supports for Public Safety Personnel program, $7,957,930 in the Land Ambulance Service Grant as well as Brockton receiving $36,233.56 from Fire Protection Grant and Community Living Walkerton getting $116,900 from the Partner Facility Renewal Grant.
