Bruce County resident faces charges after Breaking into Cars in Saugeen Shores

Police are asking anyone who resides in the Ottawa Avenue & surrounding areas to check their vehicles for any missing items.

Saugeen Shores Police have charged a man who was caught early Wednesday breaking into a vehicle.

Officers were called to the Ottawa Avenue area just before 6 am and were able to locate the suspect who was wanted on a bench warrant.

The 29-year-old of Bruce County is facing charges of possession of a schedule 1 substance, carrying a concealed weapon & for a dangerous purpose, possessing property obtained by crime and failure to comply with a release order.

They were held in custody pending a bail hearing.
