Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound MPP Bill Walker announced this evening that he won’t be seeking re-election in the June 2022 Provincial Election.

He says in the release that serving as the MPP has truly been an honour for the past decade, that he’s proud of what his team, and his colleagues have been able to accomplish over this time.

He finishes by thanking his constituents for the privilege and honour to serve them, and all the best to the next MPP who will be chosen by the people to lead Bruce-Owen-Sound in the future.

Bill Walker attained the riding of Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound back in 2011 when previous Progressive Conservative incumbent Bill Murdoch decided not to run for re-election after serving from 1990 until 2011.
