Bruce Power issues Statement in Regards to SNC Lavalin & Society of Professional Engineers Negotiation

Comment comes after key supports were withdrawn from many of company’s projects, outage and operational activities supported by the two organizations.

Bruce Power issued a statement yesterday in regards to ongoing negotiations between SNC Lavalin and the Society of Professional Engineers and Associates.

In the statement, Bruce Power says that while they are not directly involved in the negotiations they encourage the parties to work together to reach a fair agreement.

This comes after key supports were withdrawn from many of Bruce Power’s projects, outage and operational activities supported by the two organizations.

They close the statement by saying that it needs to be addressed on an expedited timetable at the highest urgency.

The statement is signed by President & CEO of OPG Ken Hartwick and Bruce Power President & CEO Mike Rencheck.
