The 25th annual food drive by Bruce Area Solid Waste Recycling is ongoing, and pickup will be coming to the Kincardine and Port Elgin areas next week.

Participation is easy, residents just need to place canned food items in an untied plastic bag next to their blue box for collection.

Pickup comes to Tiverton and Kincardine Township next Monday, Kincardine Tuesday and Port Elgin on Wednesday.

Over the past 24 years, the food drive has collected over 175,000 lbs of food for local food banks.
