Young women are being invited to explore local skilled trades in the area.
The Built to Lead event taking place November 5th at the NII Advance Technology Campus is invite women in grades 7-12 to explore exciting, hands on career paths in the skilled trades.
Hosted by the Nuclear Innovation Institute in partnership with the Bluewater District School Board and Bruce Grey Catholic District School Board, the event will feature 25 exhibitors showcasing careers in construction, agriculture and culinary.
Jessica Linthorne, NII President and CEO says this event is all about helping young women see themselves in these roles and giving them the confidence to take that first step.
