A program to educate youth on black history is coming to Kincardine area schools.

The organizers of Kincardine Pride with support from Bruce Power are bringing the Saidat Show to elementary schools as part of Black History Month.

Saidat is an award winning children’s entertainer and motivational speaker.

Pride Director Karen Ledingham explains the purpose of having this program in schools.

There are two series: one for Kindergarden to Grade 3, and another for Grades 4 to 8.

Ledingham says Kincardine Pride is all about inclusivity and this program is just another way to promote that.
