It was a successful charity hockey game in Wiarton this past weekend between Grey Bruce OPP and the South Bruce Peninsula Fire Department.
The event held at the Wiarton arena on December 13th saw local emergency services face off on the ice with both teams battling back and forth but it was Grey Bruce OPP coming out on top with 4 seconds left to take a 6-5 win.
The event support both the South Bruce Peninsula Toy Drive and Wiarton Salvation Army Food Bank with $322 raised along with a number of toys and non perishable food donations.
