An investigation into a fatal crash in Brockton last summer has resulted in charges.
A 26-year-old man from Howick Township was charged with impaired driving causing death and dangerous driving, and was held for a bail hearing on Monday.
The crash occurred on Sideroad 5 back on August 15th around 8:30 PM.
South Bruce OPP along with Brockton Fire and Bruce County paramedics arrived to find a single vehicle striking a tree.
26-year-old Brayden Berberich of Brockton was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle was extricated and taken to hospital by air ambulance with life-threatening injuries.
