While it was planned to reopen at 7am this morning, the Chesley Hospital Emergency Department will stay closed for another day due to insufficient staffing.
The ED will reopen on Wednesday at 7am.
During this closure ambulance by pass has been undertaken to divert patients to the nearest open emergency department.
Anyone need immediate medical attention should call 911.
