Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance announced another round of emergency department closures this weekend, and once again, Clinton will be impacted.
The Clinton Public Hospital emergency department will be closed Saturday August 6. The ED will reopen on Sunday at 8 am with regular reduced hours of operation, closing at 6 p.m.
The closest 24-hour emergency departments to the Clinton Public Hospital are Seaforth Community Hospital, Goderich’s Alexandra Marine and General Hospital and Exeter’s South Huron Hospital.
It is advised to check with the Emergency Departments listed before attending to ensure they are operating with regular hours.
There will also be closures at the St. Mary’s Memorial Hospital emergency department on Saturday.
