If you’re buying your fruit and vegetables from the Market Stand at the Canadian Tire parking lot in Kincardine, you might be shocked to see they have been forced to the leave the location.

The stand which has been operating since 2020 was informed earlier this month they had to close shop and remove the trailer and canopies by April 21st.

Operator Andrew Courtney shared on social media saying he is working with the municipality on a new location.

Mayor Kenneth Craig says he and council are aware of the issue and are looking for a solution

“It’s council and staffs desire to bring a positive outcome to this situation. There are responsibilities on both sides and as those are worked through we look forward to a speedy resolution to this issue” said Craig.

Its not certain at this time when the Market Stand will be back open in the community.
