Clean up is underway in parts of Southwestern Ontario after a deadly severe storm over the long weekend.

Saturday’s storm saw strong winds take down several trees and knock power out to hundreds of thousands of homes.

Reports say at least ten people were killed by falling trees.

Damage was said to be heavy in Uxbridge northeast of Toronto and in Ottawa, and the Northern Tornadoes Project out of London have sent teams out to the two locations to investigate the damages.

There have been no reports of damage or serious injuries around this region.

Hydro One says crews are still working on restoring power to tens of thousands of customers.
