Dave Mounsey Fund held 3rd 100k In A Day Event This Past Weekend

The Dave Mounsey Memorial Fund held its third 100k In A Day this past weekend in support of Life Saving Defibrillators.

It was between Windsor and Chatham.

There were 20 families of fallen Police, Fire, Paramedics and soldiers who took part in the relay.

One leg was in honour of Huron County OPP Constable Vu Pham, Badge #8783.

He was killed in the line of Duty on May 8th, 2010.

He had a 15-year career serving in the communities of Parry Sound & Cochrane and finally in Huron County.

Online donations received at the leg over the weekend raised nearly $7,200.

The next 100k walk is set for London to Port Dover.
