Grey Bruce OPP say a dog has been euthanized after an attack Wednesday morning in Dundalk.
On October 15th at around 8:41am, OPP received a report of an unrestrained dog on Russel Street. The dog was said to have bitten one child and was trying to bite another.
The owner was on scene trying to restrain the animal but wasn’t successful. For public safety, the dog was shot by police and later euthanized.
Two individuals were treated for minor injuries.
Police are reminding the public to always report aggressive or dangerous animals and to avoid approaching them.
