With Earth Day happening this weekend, the staff and students at Ecole Port Elgin Saugeen Central School decided to make a difference by cleaning up their community.
On Thursday, over 350 students, teachers and volunteers hit the streets of Port Elgin to pick up garbage.
Wendy Cumming, principal of the School, joined J.C. on the Shoreline Classics Morning Show to talk about the day and what it meant to have the students participate:
J.C. joined Mrs. MacNeil’s Grade 2 Class to volunteer for the event, along with Const. Clark of the Saugeen Shores Police Service.
