The trial of a former golf pro from Seaforth began yesterday with the first of two trials for adult victims.
63-year Cameron Doig is charged with sexual assault, interference, invitation to sexual touching, exploitation and voyeurism and indecent assault.
He also faces historical charges involving two victims who were minors at the time of those incidents.
These two cases and the two others are covered under a publication ban at trial which prohibits any details being published that would help identify any of the victims.
Doig worked at Seaforth Golf & Country Club, which his family owns, and the incident involving minors are said to have occurred in the mid 90’s.
