The Town of Saugeen Shores is in mourning with the passing of former Southampton Mayor Lloyd Hale.
In a release, Mayor Hale served the community with distinction during his tenure as Mayor from 1980-1982.
Mayor Luke Charbonneau says as a mark of respect he’s directed all municipal flags be flown at half mast on Thursday, the day of Mayor Hale’s funeral.
Charbonneau adds the town remains grateful for his many contributions and dedicated service to the community.
Hale was 92 years old.
