With spring weather returning and rain in forecast, Grey Bruce Public Health is encouraging residents on private water systems to test their drinking water.
Residents on a private water system can take advantage of Public Health Ontario’s complimentary well water testing program.
Residents can pick up a sample collection kit and take water samples to one of 14 drop off locations across Grey-Bruce.
GBPH Senior Public Health Manager Andrew Barton says spring is an ideal time for households in Grey-Bruce that draw drinking water from wells and other private systems to get a sample tested for bacterial indicators of contamination.
