Response to the Goderich free little pantry program has been overwhelming after it was officially launched this Sunday.

Organizer Avery Greaves says there’s been lots of use over the first few days of operation, noting that some locations have had more activity than others.

“It looks like the Goderich Library location and the Goderich Tourism Centre location are the most heavily utilized pantries,” she says. “It’s been about 36 hours since I’ve stocked them and about two-thirds of the products have been taken. But both of them also have quite a few products that have been donated to them as well.”

The free little pantry is encouraging donations of dried goods over the winter months.
