A freezing drizzle advisory remains in effect across the area with surfaces on highways, roads, walkways and parking lots being icy and slippery.
Conditions are expected to improve by the afternoon with the warning affecting Perth, Huron, Wellington, Bruce and Grey Counties.
The ice can be thin and very hard to see.
Drivers are asked to drive carefully this morning.
