Heading into the long weekend the Suncoast Citadel Salvation Army in Goderich is holding a food drive.
Starting tomorrow and on Friday everyone is encouraged to donate what they can for and keep the shelves stocked for those in need.
Kendall Strome, Community & Family Services Supervisor with the Salvation Army highlights some of the things they are in high demand for within the last few years.
“We’re looking for things like pasta sauce, large soups, canned fruit, canned ham and chicken, cereal, peanut butter is always a big one” Strome.
The food drive kicks off tomorrow at Zehrs in Goderich from 10am-3pm with the drive also running at the same time on Friday.
