The Fundraising Team for Goderich’s Contingent of the “Coldest Night of the Year” Fundraiser in Support of the those Encountering Homelessness in Huron County are already approaching their goal.

The event, which began 11 years ago, has seen over $43 million dollars raised across Canada.

Bernice Glen, Captain of “Bernie’s Bunch” raising money as part of the Goderich continent speaks to how they are doing there this year.

“Our goal is $94,000. As of this morning we are at 91% of the goal or $80,000. I am sure we are going to surpass that goal. We have 54 teams, 240 people walking and they are raising money by the hour right now.”

To take part and either walk or donate to the cause you can find the details at cnoy.org.
